Appendix B. Some Build Variables

You can see all the build variables that are available to Run Script build phases by creating a phase that consists only of the command env. You’ll find that there are more than 250 variables. Here’s a list of the more useful ones. For purposes of example, assume that user “xcodeuser” is making a debug build of an application named MyApp out of a project named MyProject on a PowerPC; the project uses the 10.4 Universal SDK. See Figure B.1.
