Abstract
As the cyber world is expanding regularly, privacy and security of the computing devices are facing various challenges. Enormous security threats and attacks cause loss of information, authentication, integrity, and privacy. Internet of things (IoT) and cloud environment are the legendary technologies in cyber world which are mostly useful technologies today. Protection of the internet of things (IoT) and cloud devices are essential tasks to sustain by facing the attacks of the threats. AI and machine learning (ML) are the technologies advent in present era to prevent attacks and threats. Natures of the attacks are transformed due to the advent and upgradation in technologies.AI techniques are applied in security paradigm to mitigate the cyber threats or attacks impacts. Machine Learning tools are imposed to monitor various attacks happening in cyber world. Various security issues and challenges have been studied regrading cloud, fog, edge computing, and IoT with this study. Main findings of this chapter are to compare various machine learning methodologies and AI techniques which are adopted to provide securities in cloud, edge and IoT.
