11 Re-building the organisation post-redundancy implementation

This chapter addresses the very important aspect of re-building the organisation, the last part of the RRR strategy; to ‘Re-Build’, focusing on recognition, ongoing development and investment, referring to Figure 11.1. Key aspects are addressed, including the importance of leadership, work redesign, training and development, relationship building, recognition and evaluation.

The stages are listed as follows: defining organisational goals, cost containment, planning and analysis, management training, people impact strategy, communications strategy, workforce support, and recognise, develop and invest.
