ONE SMALL FLASH and a shoot-through umbrella was all the gear it took to get “Pinhole” looking just the way Pablo wanted it. He moved the umbrella up close enough to the needle to create a large white reflection and a ton of soft light. Pablo borrowed a macro extension tube from his “bro-in-law” so he could focus in nice and close, creating an abstract from reality and very cool-looking graphic image without the need for a complicated or expensive light setup.
