TOOLS FOR ORGANIZATIONS TO CONDUCT COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT

The new ATD World-Class Sales Competency Model (WCSCM), like any other competency model, is a means to an end, not an end in and of itself. It provides sales organizations with a state-of-the-art competency framework that can be a critical tool for achieving a variety of sales talent management goals.

To adapt the model to your organization’s needs as well as your own, chapters 6 and 7, respectively, describe the steps to take. This appendix provides the following tools, templates, and examples for more effective use of the WCSCM in conducting competency gap assessments.
