12. Building Secure, Dynamic Web 2.0 Sites with Web Server 7.0

WEB 1.0 sites are somewhat static in nature, with content being maintained by the company itself. Webmasters of Web 1.0 sites are constantly being burdened with the need to update the site’s content in an effort to keep visitors informed and engaged. Sites built in the Web 1.0 framework are typically characterized as read-only and are analogous to online billboards with downloadable technical documents. Figure 12.1 demonstrates the interaction between the site and its visitors in a Web 1.0 framework.
