Chapter 7. Programming with the RMAPI

Introduction

The resource management API (RMAPI) consists of callback methods, C library functions, and command-line utilities to provide an interface to the resource group manager (RGM) and resource types. In this chapter, we will cover the RMAPI’s C library functions and command-line utilities. These functions and command-line interfaces (CLIs) can be used to create highly available services and scalable services and can gather information about the cluster.
