A Pioneer in Sustainable Outerwear
Picture Organic Clothing, based in Annecy le vieux, France, creates bomber ski jackets, snow pants, wetsuits, swimwear, and other products (Figures 2-19.1–2-19.2) made 100 percent from recycled poly and plant-based materials that match the performance of traditionally made of less sustainable products. For the past 10 years, the fabric used for the firm’s products contains polyester derived from recycling plastic bottles.
Technical outerwear is a whole different story.
