So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
CHAPTER 2 A SUSTAINABLE APPROACH
Introduction
We have learned in Chapter 1 that sustainable interior design is essential to help address global environmental problems. In this chapter, we will explore how to approach designing interiors with a low environmental impact. We will explain the need for compromise and to consider the consequences of one’s design decisions, and introduce a series of questions that structure this process. Further, we will outline the assessment tools designers can opt for to formalize their approach to sustainable design.
