2.1 Introduction
The particle swarm optimization (PSO) technique was suggested and formally introduced by environmental scientist Russell C. Eberhart and social scientist James Kennedy [1]. This method had a deep link with some of the social connections, assumptions, and behaviours that originated from the computational modelling and simulation of the generalized socialist structure of the bird flock seeking food by those authors, and contributes to the so-called swarm intelligence, a significant and comprehensive field of research in natural computing.
