Planning Content Management
Content includes files for applications, packages, software updates, and operating system deployment. Delivering content efficiently to users across various network locations and device types is one of the most important functions of Configuration Manager. Chapter 2 introduces ConfigMgr content management. This section offers guidance on deploying content management in your environment.
The content distribution infrastructure for each site consists of the content source location(s), the site server, and a set of distribution points. Figure 4.2 shows an example of a content distribution infrastructure.
