Hardware Inventory Device Settings
Hardware inventory device settings allow you to enable or disable hardware inventory and define its settings, as displayed in Figure 9.30.

When hardware inventory is enabled (default), you can specify its schedule. This is every 7 days by default, but you can specify a custom schedule. You can also specify how to collect specify management information files (MIFs), identify a maximum MIF file size, and define hardware inventory classes.
