Software Metering Device Settings
Software metering measures the actual use of software rather than just inventorying it. You can use software metering rules to collect file usage data. Figure 9.41 shows the settings that apply to configuring software metering.

Selecting the Schedule button, as shown in Figure 9.41, allows you to change the default value (every 7 days effective 2/1/1970 12:00 AM) and whether it is a simple or custom schedule.
