Access Rules
Access rules enable you to control which device types can communicate with the Exchange ActiveSync Service. In Figure 15.11, only Windows Phone (WP) is allowed, with all other devices put in quarantine. The two other alternatives are to allow or block access to the EAS service. You can also get notification emails about quarantined devices for the administrator to take action on. This function is not available when you create the Exchange ActiveSync Connector; access these settings by opening the Properties page for your connector.
