Performing On-Demand Actions for Malware
The ability to perform on-demand scanning (full or quick scan) or instruct the SCEP client to update its malware definition files (download definition) enables the administrator to initiate actions to protect the chosen client(s) from within the console. You can select individual computers, multiple computers, or entire collections. To perform on-demand actions for malware, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to the Assets and Compliance workspace.
2. In the navigation tree, expand Overview, and select Device Collections.
3. Select a device collection managed by endpoint protection, and select one or more clients you want to scan.
