Collaborating within and across systems means engaging with other individuals, departments, or organizations to connect parts of the system to realize the system’s purposes. The practice of collaboration expresses an important facet of systemic thinking in which you as a public manager guide the delivery of services that integrate multiple points of view, reflect the diverse needs of clients, and apply an array of resources to meet those needs.
