Work with Sheets and Templates

You can’t do anything in Numbers without working on a sheet—the blank canvas on which you place Numbers’ raison d’être: tables and their related charts (as well as fancier elements). After we look at colorizing a sheet’s background, I’ll show you how to create, name, and delete sheets, and how to use their tabs to manipulate multiple sheets in a document. Tabbed and Merged Windows describes a different kind of tab structure, one that makes juggling multiple open windows a thing of the past. Zooming In and Out explains how to get anything from a bird’s-eye view to an extreme closeup of your sheet. Finally, I show you how to Use Built-In and Custom Templates.
