Draw Attention
Sometimes you need a drawing to call attention to an item on a page. For example, although the highlight tools don’t highlight images or graphic path objects, you can draw an arrow from a comment box to point at a particular part of a graphic, or call out part of an image or line of text with one of the drawing shapes.
You can easily create elaborate attention-getting graphics with PDFpen’s drawing tools and Inspector object property controls. For example, Figure 6-6 shows a set of mathematical transformations in a PDF that I’ve highlighted by superimposing a round corner rectangle, which has a custom fill color (yellow at 25% opacity) and a custom stroke (green, with a 2 point width).
