Chapter 10. Use .Mac
Apple's .Mac services are a perfect companion to MacBook because you literally expand the reach of MacBook to the Internet. There are a variety of .Mac services you can use, including e-mail, Web sites, free software, and, perhaps the most useful of all, an iDisk.
To use .Mac services, you must obtain a .Mac account and then configure MacBook to access that account. Once you do, .Mac services become linked to MacBook so that you can access them from the desktop, Safari, and various applications, such as iPhoto.
