4Deployment Risks and Contingencies
The previous chapters outlined the preparations necessary for a successful TAS implementation, notes on creating a TAA design based on the gTAA that makes sense for the project context, and which issues have to be considered for the derivation of the TAS from the TAA design. It is now time to discuss the real, operative deployment and maintenance of the TAS. This is where the effects—and therefore also the appropriateness and success—of the previous steps become apparent.
In this context, we have to look at how the TAS is deployed (see section 4.1), the risks involved in the process, and how these can be mitigated (see section 4.2). Finally, we will look at how the TAS is maintained following initial deployment ...
