Visioning
This chapter examines visioning activities. In visioning, stakeholders articulate a vision of the future state that will be realized by the product or endeavor and the reason for embarking on the initiative. Visioning is carried out when developing a new product or undertaking a major change. It is revisited quarterly and as required by changing circumstances, such as a new market opportunity—or loss of an opportunity—due to unexpected regulatory changes.
