Chapter 11. Camera and Firefly
Your Fire is equipped with two cameras: a 13-megapixel camera on the back and a front-facing camera that you can use for video conferencing, selfies, and more. This chapter covers taking pictures with either camera, using the camera’s features, viewing your pictures, editing basics, and using the camera’s most innovative feature: Firefly.
You can quickly start the Camera app on your Fire by pressing the shutter button on the left side of the Fire (right under the volume buttons) (11.1). The majority of the interface is dedicated to a viewfinder showing you what you’re taking a picture of, but there are a few buttons to explain:
