It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 1. LEGO and robots: a great combination
Welcome to the world of robotics. Not long ago, the only place you could find a robot was in a good science fiction story. Today robots are very real and perform a wide variety of important jobs, like exploring other planets, investigating deep-sea volcanoes, assembling automobiles, and performing surgery. Figure 1-1 shows the Mars Exploration Rover Curiosity. You can even buy a robot at the hardware store to sweep your floors while you sleep!
