I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
About the Cover Illustration
The figure on the cover of The Art of Unit Testing, Second Edition is a Japonais en costume de cérémonie, a Japanese man in ceremonial dress. The illustration is taken from James Prichard’s Natural History of Man, a book of hand-colored lithographs published in England in 1847. It was found by our cover designer in an antique shop in San Francisco.
Prichard began the research for his study of the natives of the world in 1813. By the time his work was published 34 years later, he had gathered much of the available research about various peoples and nations, and his work became an important foundation for modern ethnological science.
