8.1 Lock and Load

We're rebels in a galactic conflict, and we need your help.

Titanfall 2 casts you as a pilot for our rebel army. And as a pilot, you've got a lot to learn. Hand-to-hand combat? You'll need that. Close-quarters firefights? You should be ready for those too. Also long-range sniping. Also short-range explosives. In total, Titanfall 2 offers more than 30 firearms for you to master.

And none of that yet touches on the core skills that set Titanfall 2 pilots apart from other war-game heroes. These pilots are called as such because they're uniquely equipped to pilot “Titans”—giant, bipedal fighting machines, which come with a whole host of additional skills to learn.

Oh, and when you aren't piloting a Titan, you're expected to master jetpacks for fast-moving, gravity-defying battlefield parkour. Got it? Great! Let us know when you're ready to start!

8.2 Suit Up

Back in Phase 1 of the Core Career Loop, we chose a profession to pursue. Now that we've got a new professional path in our sights, we don't just head right toward it—nor do we delay, spending the next decade chasing mastery from afar.

In Phase 2 of the loop, we level up, developing the fundamental skills necessary to thrive in our new profession. And we're strategic about that process, maximizing relevant skill growth while managing our limited time and resources practically.
