3.1 Introduction
Chapters 1 and 2 have given us a vivid picture about IoT and the associated design issues and challenges. The chapters have also given us an insight into the IoT application development process, key technologies used, and the platforms available that support in the actual development of the applications. They have built a strong foundation for the rest of chapters in this book in which we will discuss about the importance of Cloud in IoT and the various approaches and techniques that can be applied in real-time scenarios encountered when developing an IoT application.
