Chapter J. Making Site Search Fast and Relevant
Search is an essential feature of most Web sites. Make sure you have search features that are useful and usable. Pay special attention to which words customers type in, how you present the results, how customers interact with the results, and what happens if they can’t find what they’re looking for. This pattern group deals with designing the interaction so that your customers’ searches are more effective.
