So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Axis scaling
Axis scaling can be best represented through three dimensions of a cube; X-Axis, Y-Axis, and Z-Axis. Each of those dimensions describes a type of scaling:
- X-Axis: Horizontal duplication
- Y-Axis: Functional decomposition
- Z-Axis: Data partitioning
