I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

So far, we explored how to leverage some of Kubernetes core features. We used HorizontalPodAutoscaler and Cluster Autoscaler. While the former relies on Metrics Server, the latter is not based on metrics, but on Scheduler's inability to place Pods within the existing cluster capacity. Even though Metrics Server does provide some basic metrics, we are in desperate need for more.
We have to be able to monitor our cluster and Metrics Server is just not enough. It contains a limited amount of metrics, it keeps them for a very short period, and it does not allow us to execute anything but simplest queries. I can't say that we are blind if we rely ...
