So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
53. PVC FRAME TRIFLECTOR
TRIFLECTORS ARE USED in portrait lighting to create beautiful headshots. They also produce a really neat catch light in the eyes. As the name implies, they create three reflection surfaces. They are almost always placed underneath the subject’s head with the main light firing above the head. The net result is four surfaces of light that produce a really nice flat lighting effect for a high-fashion look that is flattering for women and men.
