Optimism

DEFINITION:

Optimism is the ability to look at the brighter side of life and to maintain a positive attitude even in the face of adversity. Optimism is an indicator of one's positive attitude and outlook on life. It involves remaining hopeful and resilient, despite occasional setbacks. Optimism is the opposite of pessimism, which is a common symptom of depression.1
