So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 11The Future
This chapter is not an attempt to envision visual effects a hundred years from now. I will leave this to sci-fi writers and professional prophets. Instead, I am simply pointing out technologies and workflows that already exist and are likely to affect the way we create and use visual effects for movies and TV in the near future. Our forefathers lived in a world where technological changes happened slowly, over the course of many years, and where tradition and adherence to inherited knowledge were revered.
