RESEARCH BACKGROUND

The basic aim of this project was to learn about responsible leadership in a turbulent, market-driven world by studying entrepreneurs. To accomplish this, I viewed their experiences and reflections from three different perspectives.

First, I read and analyzed seventy-five case studies on entrepreneurs to learn about the full range of issues involving leadership and responsibility that they faced. These cases typically described individuals who had created and led new organizations during the last decade or so.
