Dollies
The dollies described in this section are only a few of the types available (Figure 14.1). I believe that the examples chosen are the best the industry has to offer. Each dolly has its own characteristics, but all of the dollies do one basic thing—they are a mobile platform for the camera. This invention has saved the grip and camera department many hours of pain due to carrying a tripod with a camera on it. As you look through the charts and specifications for each dolly, decide for yourself which dolly is best suited for the job you are about to do.
