I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The previous portions of this book provide an introduction to the equipment used daily in the making of motion pictures, videos, and even still photographs all over the world. This portion of the book examines how some of the equipment is assembled and operated. Remember that old Hollywood saying, “There are 10 ways to do a job in Hollywood, and usually they are all correct”? These field operations pictured are only one or two ways of doing them. When you, the reader, look at the photos here along with the accompanying text, you should be able to see how a job was engineered, and then you can modify it to accomplish your needs and to complete your process.
