Imagine, for a moment, that you are a soldier on the eve of a major battle. Tomorrow, you’re going to have to launch yourself into the jaws of hell. Your mission is to overrun a heavily armed enemy who have dug themselves into positions that seem impenetrable. The terrain is open, barricaded and landmined. It provides little cover from the enemy’s deadly fire. Somehow, you are going to have to dislodge them. The picture is terrifying.
