Let me explain why good planning is essential if a photo shoot is to be successful. In the first chapter, I advised you to keep your camera ready at all times and not to let it languish in your camera bag. Carrying your Leica over your shoulder or hung around your neck enables you to react quickly, but you still need to find your subjects.
