IMMEDIATE TERMINATION: PROCEDURE AND DOCUMENTATION

In the case of a serious, non-performance-related offense, you may choose to immediately terminate the employee, that is, terminate without going through the disciplinary process. Actions that merit such severe consideration, even on a first-time basis, include the following:

•   Fighting/Violence

•   Theft

•   Deliberate destruction of company property

•   Sexual harassment

•   Use or sale of drugs on company property

•   Falsification of company documents

•   Bringing weapons on company property
