The Idea
Values and vision inform strategy and structure. They establish purpose before action. Values and vision are different.
Values indicate what is important to the organization and guide how the organization conducts itself. Shared values are primarily directed toward process.
Core values should be shared by as many people as possible throughout the organization and among partners. Similarly, everyone in the organization should feel that their primary role is to contribute to the vision.
