McKinsey Structure

In general, people who work at the Firm are referred to as consultants regardless of their actual title in the Firm. Since this was a book on leadership transition, however, I have used many internal job titles to facilitate the discussion and give perspective on the success principles. Yet, if you are new to this world, the different titles can become confusing. Thus, I have created a simple hierarchical structure (Figure A.1) to answer the question, “What exactly is each level responsible for?”
