What are recognisable characteristics of a mentor relationship?
Since you first read a good book, watched a movie or listened to a classic fable told by an expert storyteller, you have an instinctive ability to spot a mentor relationship because the features of those follow common themes. To help us explore this further, let’s remind ourselves of some classic mentor relationships – see Table 2.1.
