Electronic Instruments
Since their inception in the early 1980s, MIDI-based electronic instruments have played an important role in the development of music technology and production. These devices, along with the advent of cost-effective analog and digital audio recording systems, have been amongst the most important technological advances to shape the industry into what it is today.
