REVIEWING AUDIO RECORDINGS

Another way to get information about what has happened in a session is to tape it and then review the tape later. This of course can be quite time-consuming: to completely review a session tape takes the same amount of time the session itself took, plus any extra time spent stopping and starting the tape, taking notes, and so forth. For busy people, this can be an obstacle. Still, it’s such a powerful aid to perspective and mindfulness that I recommend Exercise 11.11 as something to do occasionally.
