This chapter focuses on digital television (DTV), an application designed to produce an enhanced television display. High definition television (HDTV), which can fall under the DTV designation, has been a goal of companies and countries for years. The chapter concludes with an overview of an analogous system geared for radio, digital audio broadcasting (DAB).
