Prior to the SB-900/SB-910, the SB-800 was Nikon’s flagship Speedlight, and it still deserves its reputation as an extremely capable strobe. The SB-800 is a great all-around, very rugged flash, which will serve you well for many years.
The SB-800 is typically used in three ways:
