Chapter 14. Using the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 NOOK Camera and Google Hangouts
When the first NOOK Color was released, no camera was part of the device. As the NOOK Tablet and NOOK HDs followed, no camera was added. That’s all changed now with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 NOOK. In fact, you have a front-facing and rear-facing camera. The rear-facing camera is a 3 megapixels, while the front-facing is 1.3 megapixels. Neither of these cameras will match digital SLRs, but they are decent cameras that perform well.
Using the NOOK Camera
To use the camera, turn it on by tapping Camera from the second Home screen page. The camera starts up (see Figure 14.1).
