Event Bounce Flash

My go-to method for lighting events.

• Camera + Trigger
• Lens of a focal length
• On-camera flash
• 1 or more off-camera flashes
• 1 or more light stands
• 1 or more grid

I almost didn’t write about my event (wedding) lighting system because truthfully, I shoot with my speedlight on camera at almost all costs. After all, this book is all about off-camera flash, right? Well, the concepts regarding flash are the same whether it’s on or off the camera. It’s simply the light direction that changes (Figure 23.1).
