CHAPTER 3 SELECTIONS 101

We’ll kick off with what I’m calling Selections 101, which sounds kind of cool, but to be honest, I didn’t know what else to call this chapter. In the next few pages, I want to cover some of the stuff you’ll do quite a lot when making selections, such as resizing and saving them, but I’m also going to cover some keyboard shortcuts and some terminology that will hopefully help you to understand what I’m talking about.

Like most things in life, when it’s something we’re comfortable with, we can take for granted what we know, and what might seem obvious and basic to us may not be for others.
