20.3. Prioritizing Business Objectives for Execution
To continue with the process planning example in Subchapters 20.1 and 20.2, the business objectives and action items identified and documented by the business-unit teams are now prioritized. Many enterprises fail to perform this step, but this prioritizing before selecting any specific business objective for implementation requires that management develop a list of business objective prioritization criteria (see key examples in Table 20-4).
