180° rule—a cinematography guideline that states that two characters in a scene should maintain the same left/right relationship to one another.
2.5 D—a technique of using still images where each layer can be to cut out and separately manipulated to create movement and perspective, simulating the appearance of 3D. See also rostrum and Ken Burns effect.
